P4P-005: Rich Carey

Rich owns 20 rental homes free and clear and he did it on a military salary! This episode is filled with some great advice from Air Force member (Investor/Blogger/etc.) Rich Carey, who will retire financially independent in 2020 after turning from Wall Street to service for his country. Rich shocked me when he said, "military members should NEVER buy a house at their duty station" (with one caveat).  Does he really think owning a home free and clear is the best way to go?  What does he think about single-family versus multi-units? What's his advice if you're broke with no credit? What's his advice if you have $100K to invest? How the heck does he manage remotely?
